William C. “Bill” Radtke, 79, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026 at Stonebridge Nursing Center in Owensville.
He was born on June 25, 1947, to the late Raymond W. Radtke and Mildred J. Radtke (Roetheli) in Washington.
He attended St. George Catholic School in Hermann, St. Joseph’s Seminary in Westmont, Ill., Quincy College in Quincy, Ill. and St. Paschal’s in Oak Brook, Ill.
Bill worked in the construction trade as well as being a missionary in Brazil.
He was preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Mildred.
Bill is survived by siblings, Lorayne Radtke Burns and husband Jim of Lexington, Ky., Raymond G.Radtke of Columbia, Mary Marner and husband Dave of Owensville, John Radtke of Snohomish, Wash., Janis Radtke Morris and husband Bruce and Timothy Radtke and wife Luisa, both of Lynwood, Wash., Marge Radtke and partner Dan Neill of Livingston, Mont., Cate Radtke of Hermann and Charley Radtke of Cedarburg, Wis.; two nieces; one nephew; and one great-nephew.
Visitation will be held from 9 until 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 12, followed by the Funeral Mass, at St. George Church in Hermann. A luncheon will follow.
