Zora Marie Moravek, 88, of Gerald, passed away Friday, Dec. 24, 2021, at her residence.
She was born April 28, 1933, to Elmer Ellis and Etta May (Miinch) Hinkle at home in Scott County Mo.
She first married Gretson Corbitt in 1957, then Henry Moravek in 1978 and both preceded her in death. She married Harry Rothermich March 23, 2001 in Chaffee.
Zora enjoyed animals and raising exotic birds.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Etta May Hinkle; husbands Gretson Corbitt and Henry Moravek; one daughter Patricia Kaye Corbitt; five brothers John, Cletus, James, Elmer Jr. and Lowell Hinkle and one sister Hazle Hinkle.
She is survived by her husband at home, Harry Rothermich; five sons David Corbitt and wife Belinda of Sullivan, Kelly Corbitt and his wife Cristena of Gerald, George Rothermich and his wife Eve of Owensville, Roy Rothermich of Robertsville, and Robert Rothermich of Gerald; one daughter Nina Mason and her husband Kenneth of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one brother Charles Robert Hinkle of Chaffee; and 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for 88 year old Zora Moravek will be Thursday, Dec. 30, from 4-8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Gerald.
No formal funeral services are planned and burial will be private at New Friendship Baptist Cemetery.
