Starting tomorrow (Thursday), yours truly will be planning road trips to cover Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) District Softball Tournaments at Richland High School, South Callaway High School in Mokane and Southern Boone County High School in Ashland.
A Warden Publishing district softball tripleheader will begin tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m., in the MSHSAA Class 3, District 5 Tournament in Ashland with the top-seeded Fatima Lady Comets taking on the eighth-seeded Eldon Lady Mustangs.
Later on in the day, a short 35-minute drive to Mokane will be followed by first-round action of the MSHSAA Class 2, District 3 Tournament and a 7 p.m., contest between the sixth-seeded Belle Lady Tigers and third-seeded North Callaway Lady Thunderbirds.
It will be back to Ashland for the nightcap of the tripleheader at 8 p.m., between the sixth-seeded Owensville Dutchgirls and third-seeded Blair Oaks Lady Falcons.
