Other area boys competing in Wax’s division included Hermann’s Korbyn Kottwitz (12th, 13.8 feet) and Owensville’s Jase Gruenke (17th, 13.1 feet).
Gerald’s Bryli Blaue also left South Dakota with hardware claiming third place in the 9-year-old girls division winning a pull off for third place with a mark of 28.09.
Brooklyn Blaue also placed 14th among 8-year-old girls pulling 17.9 feet.
Eben Kottwitz took 14th in the 7-year-old boys division with a pull of 23.5 feet.
