Owensville High School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) chapter members Baylee Sieckmann (left) and Halle Engelbrecht apply a fresh coat of paint to the Buschmann Park pavilion along Fourth Street during a Sept. 14 community service project. They were among 36 OHS FCCLA members participating in the service project which included painting park pavilions, mulching and landscaping of trees and plants at the Veterans Memorial Park, Winter Park, Memorial Park, and Owensville Golf Course. FCCLA students also picked up trash, spread grass seed and put down straw in areas under repair, and removed invasive honeysuckle from park grounds.
