Throughout the day Saturday, Owensville Elementary School (OES) and Owensville High School (OHS) played host to fourth, fifth and sixth-grade boys basketball tournaments.

Owensville had a team competing in all three grade levels while Hermann had a team of fifth-graders from St. George Catholic School also competing at OES.

Coached by Adam Grayson and Nick Nolting, Owensville’s fourth-grade Dutchmen consisted of team members Silas Grayson, Isaak Barch, Draydon Gruenloh, Blake Koch, Trevin Nolting, Frank Clancy, Brett Sassmann, Trace Ridder, Joseph Benson and Zeke Johnson.

Owensville’s fifth-grade Dutchmen coached by Matt Kramme and Charlie Meyer included team members Barrett Knight, Logan Meyer, Cooper Southerland, Colt Southerland, Mason Steinbeck, Chesten Adkinson, Atticus Budnik, Nathan Dobbs, Bentley Crews, Grayson Kelley, Liam Kramme and Brock Schneider.

Players on Hermann’s fifth-grade roster included Lane Schebaum, Jordan Bolte, Lane Groner, Oliver Kopp, Tanner Grotewiel, Grady Korman, Korbyn Kottwitz, Leland Ulhorn, Garth Gerlemann and Paxton LaBruyere.

Coached by Lucas Gehlert and Jason Crowe, sixth-grade Dutchmen team members included Will Brune, Cord Tucker, Brayden Oldfather, Ricky Ringeisen, Peyton Sells, Roman Crowe, Ivan Phillips, Lane Meyer, Josiah Gehlert and Trace Lange.

Future fourth, fifth and sixth-grade Dutchgirls will get their turns on the big courts at OES and OHS this Saturday.
