The County Commission is scheduled to hold its regular weekly session at 8:30 on Wednesday, Aug. 19 in the courthouse for this week. County administrators could adopt an order placing a property tax-relief measure for older homeowners on the Nov. 3 ballot. They will return to regular Thursday meeting day next week.
Gasconade County R-1 will hold it's Open Houses at its three campuses Thursday. At the middle and high schools. The Open House and student registration will be held from 1-7 p.m. At the elementary school Open House will be from 4:30-7 p.m.
The Hermann Board of Aldermen is scheduled to hold its second regular session of the month at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 24.
The Board of Directors of the Hermann Area District Hospital are scheduled to meet Monday afternoon at 5 for its regular monthly session.
Gasconade County R-1 begins the new school year Tuesday, Aug. 25. The new year will see a new Hermann Middle School principal, A new Hermann Elementary School principal and a new assistant superintendent, as well as a new director of student services.
