Hermann High School senior Blaine Klott (center) delivers a surprised reaction when his name was announced as the winner of the $10,000 Gasconade County Math and Science Scholarship given by the Gerald Ebker family between games of a boys basketball doubleheader Friday night in Hermann between the visiting Owensville Dutchmen and host Bearcats. Other contestants pictured include Owensville High School senior Joseph Skornia (left) and Hermann senior Alaina Worland. Seven seniors tested for the scholarship including OHS students Aurora Maher, Lauren Shields, and Gabriel Soest. Iteara Christian from Hermann also particpated in the testing.
