Jefferson City – Mossy Oak Properties, Central Missouri Land & Homes, is planning to give out 600 tree seedlings Saturday, April 11, at Village Market in Hermann as part of their conservation program.
Seedlings will be distributed from 9 to 11 a.m. in Hermann along with sites in Osage and Callway counties.
Some of the varieties of trees being distributed in include Willow Oak, Redbud, Wild Plum, Silver Maple, Elderberry & Dogwood, according to DeWayne Sprenger, broker/owner.
The Mossy Oak Properties National Day of Conservation challenges the Mossy Oak Properties network — and all those who love the land — to engage in conservation activities in their communities.
“Although our day of conservation is held on the last Saturday in September, our order of tree seedlings is a spring event through the Missouri Department of Conservation,” said Sprender. “We strive to make everyday a day of conservation and do our part to make it better than we found it.”
