Motorists scheduled for Nov. 12 Hermann court appearances

Fredy R. Forero-Torress of St. Louis was charged Oct. 22 with the class D misdemeanor driving while revoked or suspended as a first offense, and the class C misdemeanor exceeding posted speed limit by 11-15 mph following an Aug. 23 traffic stop initiated by a Gasconade County Sheriff’s deputy.

According to the probable cause statement, Forero-Torress was pulled over for traveling 75 mph in a 60 mph zone. He was transported to the Rosebud Police Department where he was booked and released. A summons has been issued for a court appearance Nov. 12 at 9 a.m. in Gasconade County Division IV court with Associate Circuit Judge Ada Brehe-Krueger presiding.

James A Bishop of the 1200 block of Gutenberg Street in Hermann was charged Oct. 22 with the class D misdemeanor driving while revoked or suspended, first offense, following a traffic stop conducted by HPD Sept. 9. HPD reports being dispatched due to Bishop’s aunt calling and stating that he was being kicked out of the house due to drug use and that she believed he was driving a potentially stolen light blue Pontiac G6. A warrant was requested due to alleged drug use history and Bishop’s reported statement that after being kicked out of the residence and now homeless, he planned on leaving the area. A summons was issued for Bishop to appear Nov. 12 at 9 a.m. in Gasconade County Division IV court with Brehe-Krueger presiding.

William Thomas Jere’ Beason of Cuba was charged Oct. 22 with the class B misdemeanor DWI following a May 3 traffic stop by GCSO. GCSO reports responding to a motor vehicle accident and arriving on scene to find Beason in an ambulance receiving treatment. The officer stated that Beason had bloodshot eyes and emitted a strong odor of alcoholic beverages. According to the probable cause statement, Beason stated he looked at his phone while driving, left the roadway and crashed. Beason’s BAC was listed as .145. A summons was issued for Beason to appear Nov. 12 at 9 a.m. in Gasconade County Division IV court with Brehe-Krueger presiding.
