MU Extension in Owensville will partner with Gasconade County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) to present a spring workshop on Saturday, April 11, for anyone interested in learning more about the various programs available through different area agencies.
Topics for the workshop include: EQIP with NRCS (Natural Resources Conservation Service); Parks, Soils and Water Sales Tax with DNR (Department of Natural Resources); Starting Beekeeping with Gasconade County Region Beekeepers; Plants for Pollinators with MU Extension; Alpha Gal Awareness, also with MU Extension; and Cost-Share Practices/MOVERS with Gasconade County SWCD. Information from FSA (Farm Service Agency) will also be available.
The workshop will be held in the upstairs meeting room at Legends Bank in Owensville, beginning at 10 a.m., and the plan is to wrap things up by 2:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided, free of charge, by Gasconade County Farm Bureau Insurance Agency and the Owensville MU Extension Council.
