Lawrence R. Glandon of Owensville was charged with allegations of the class D felony possession of controlled substance and the class D misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia on March 6 following a search by Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group (LANEG).
According to the probable cause statement, LANEG and a member of the Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) went to Glandon’s residence to conduct a consent search after receiving information regarding possible drug activity at the location.
The officer stated while speaking with Glandon, they observed a plastic baggie containing a crystal substance next to his right leg on the couch and read him his Miranda rights.
LANEG reported that Glandon declined consent to a search of the house and a warrant was executed with items found being one additional baggie containing a crystal substance, a cloth zipper bag containing multiple glass smoking devices and a plastic funnel with crystal residue, all in the living room.
LANEG also reported finding two digital scales containing crystal residue in Glandon’s bedroom with a field test returning a positive result for methamphetamine.
