OWENSVILLE — One man, 54, and one woman, 52, both from Taft, CA, were transported to Missouri Baptist Southern Hospital for treatment of minor injuries after their 2026 Toyota Corolla was struck from behind by a 2023 Ford Ranger driving westbound on Old Highway 66, one mile east of Cuba. The accident occurred at 4:07 p.m. on Sept. 21. The driver of the Ranger, a 37-year-old female from Cuba, was able to drive her vehicle from the scene. The Corolla was heavily damaged and towed by Chris and Son’s towing. Everyone involved was wearing their seatbelt according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A 21-year-old man from Belle was transported to Phelps Hospital by Osage County EMS for treatment of minor injuries after a one-vehicle accident driving west on MO 42, south of MO 28. The accident occurred at 11:47 p.m. on Sept. 21. The driver ran his 2025 Buick Envista off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch, continued until striking a culvert, which caused the vehicle to become airborne before it landed and rolled. The driver was wearing his seatbelt according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A 20-year-old woman from Vienna was transported by EMS to Phelps Health with serious injuries after the 2008 Chevy Impala she drove traveled off the left side of County Road 302 driving east about a half mile off of Highway 63. The passenger in the vehicle, a 16-year-old woman from Vienna, was also transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The accident occurred at 1:40 a.m. on Sept. 22. The passenger was wearing a seatbelt, but the driver was not. The car was heavily damaged and towed by Owens towing according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A 25-year-old woman from Saint Robert was transported to Phelps Health with serious injuries after her 2010 Chevy Equinox traveled off the left side of Highway 133, just north of County Road 630 in Maries County. The accident occurred at 10:28 a.m. on Sept. 22. The northbound vehicle overturned after leaving the road, The driver was not wearing a seatbelt according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A 56-year-old woman from Rolla was transported by ambulance to Phelps Health after her 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander crossed the center line and struck a 2021 Coachmen Van. Both vehicles received extensive damage. The van was towed by D&D towing and the Outlander was towed by C&C towing. The driver of the van, a 63-year-old woman from Sioux Falls, S.D. was not treated for injury. The accident occurred at 12:18 p.m. on Sept. 25 on Highway 63 about seven miles south of Vienna. Both parties were wearing their seatbelts, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.
