Hermann — As of Jan. 1, Peoples Savings Bank of Rhineland officially began operating under a new name — PSB Bank.
“The decision to adopt the PSB Bank name reflects how our organization has grown over time, while staying true to the values that have guided us for more than 90 years,” said Mark Laune, president and CEO of PSB Bank. “This new name better represents who we are today and supports our long-term vision, without changing the relationships and service our customers expect.”
No changes to local ownership, leadership, employees, products, or regular banking operations are planned, according to a release from PSB Bank. The bank “will continue to be locally owned, financially sound, and focused on providing personalized service, conservative banking practices, and dependable stewardship,” according to the release which noted the organization was founded in 1935.
“We are proud of our history as Peoples Savings Bank of Rhineland, and that legacy will always be part of who we are,” said Laune. “PSB Bank positions us well for the future while remaining firmly committed to the communities we serve.”
