Owensville Fire Chief Jeff Arnold and Gasconade County Sheriff’s Sgt. Lynde Mantels exchange information at the scene of a single-car roll-over crash June 28 on Holzschuh Road. An elderly female driver escaped injury after driving off the right side of the road as she traveled south, hit a metal culvert and went airborne, clipping the top of the fence post, and pulling a second out of the ground. It was the second vehicle roll-over on Holzschuh in the same week. For the Owensville Fire Department, it’s been a busy week including the hosting of their annual picnic and assisting area agencies in hot weather.
