The intersection of West Sears and First Street around Bogey’s Sports Bar was the scene Saturday of the Ozark Shrine Club’s final stop on a fund-raising passport run, a 51st birthday celebration for the establishment’s owner, and the 24th anniversary of Paul Farris being in business there. The band Bad Influence performed on the sidewalk along West Sears to an appreciative crowd on a mild late-spring evening. The poker run included stops in Bland, Vienna, Vichy, Rolla and Cuba before they returned to Owensville for the music and festivities at Bogey’s. Figures for funds raised during the passport run were not available at deadline on Tuesday evening.
