Jennifer Lynn Torrence of Bland was charged March 18 with the class A misdemeanor alleging leaving the scene of an accident stemming from an incident on Sept. 11, 2025.
According to the probable cause statement filed by the Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO), Torrence was identified as the driver of a red Kia involved in a one-vehicle crash. GCSO reports that Torrence fled the scene on foot immediately following the collision and was confirmed to have multiple active warrants and an expired driving status.
An unnamed female reportedly admitted to the police that Torrence had been operating her vehicle and frequently drove her around. Deputies responded to the area where Torrence had reportedly been staying but she was not located.
A criminal summons was issued for Torrence to appear April 15 at 9 a.m. in front of Judge Ada Brehe-Krueger in Gasconade County Associate Circuit court.
