No matter what the sport is, a triple crown is a rare feat.
Over the weekend, it happened twice during the Missouri AAU State Wrestling Championships in St. Charles.
Owensville wrestling brothers Bo and Steven Buddemeyer entered Sunday’s tournament in St. Charles already winning both the Missouri Challenge and Ozark District Championship Tournaments held earlier in the season.
Capping their respective triple crowns with championships Sunday in St. Charles, both Buddemeyer brothers will look to add to their medal haul this weekend during the Missouri USA Region D Tournament in Cape Girardeau.
Bo is currently a fifth-grader at Owensville Elementary School while his other brother Steven is an eighth-grader at Owensville Middle School.
