Nearly 20 Owensville Middle School cross country runners came out to Owensville High School’s Dutchmen Field for the first official day of OMS Cross Country practice under coach Tyler Ahring (center). A former OHS harrier himself, Ahring has added cross country coach to his additional duties as Owensville Dutchmen head baseball coach in the spring. OMS Cross Country will open their season alongside their OHS counterparts on Saturday, Sept. 5 in the New Haven Invitational at New Haven City Park. This will also serve as a preview to the annual Four Rivers Conference (FRC) meet that is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 20 also in New Haven.
