Three criminal cases have moved forward in Gasconade County with charges related to weapons, drugs and alcohol.
Arraignment has been scheduled for charges against Joanne D. Constanti of Rosebud related to the execution of a narcotics warrant Aug. 7 by the Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) on Route T.
Constanti has been charged with allegations of the class C felony unlawful possession of a firearm, a class D felony count for possession of a controlled substance, a class E felony for unlawful use of a weapon and a drug paraphernalia misdemeanor charge.
During their search of Constanti’s bedroom, investigators reportedly located two containers containing a crystal-like substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine, five glass smoking devices commonly used for ingesting methamphetamine, four smoking devices commonly known as water bongs, one loaded Smith & Wesson .32 caliber pistol and one M-66 SuperSingle 12-gauge lever-action shotgun.
As a convicted felon at the time of her arrest, Constanti is prohibited from owning or possessing any firearms under Missouri law. She is scheduled to appear in Gasconade County Upper Division I Court with Judge Craig Hellmann presiding this Friday at 9 a.m.
William Glen Reed of Owensville is scheduled to appear for arraignment Jan. 8, 2026, at 9 a.m. with Judge Ryan Helfrich presiding in the Gasconade County Upper Division II on the class D felony allegation of aggravated driving while intoxicated (DWI) and two misdemeanors. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported making contact with Reed in August 2024 and he is accused of driving a UTV while intoxicated on South 7th Street in Owensville.
The misdemeanors of failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and failure to signal when turning were certified to the higher court for disposition with the felony charge.
Reed was reported as having three prior alcohol related convictions from 1999 in Gasconade County, 2008 in Crawford County and 2012 in Osage County.
Michael Simpson of Hermann is also scheduled for arraignment Jan. 8, 2026, at 9 a.m. with Judge Helfrich presiding relating to an incident reported by GCSO in March 2023.
Simpson is facing allegations of the class D felony possession of controlled substance, the class A misdemeanor resisting arrest and a first-offense misdemeanor driving while revoked.
