St. John’s United Church of Christ, Bem, is holding a bonfire and movie event on Saturday evening, Oct. 10, with hot dogs, s’mores, wagon rides and the monkey bus for children.
The event is free to the public and will be held at 1944 Bem Church Road. The monkey bus will be there from 5 to 6 p.m., with wagon rides afterward and an animated Halloween movie for kids beginning around 7 p.m., once it’s dark. They ask that attendees bring chairs and any other food and drink they may want.
The Rosebud Country Music Festival will be held this weekend on Saturday Oct. 10 at the Rosebud Community Park. Gates open at 2 p.m. and tickets can be bought for $20 per person at the event or $15 ahead of time at Citizens Bank Gerald, Rosebud General Store or Rosebud Tractor. Kids 13 and under are free.
There will be over 45 vendors on site, including a beer tent and food trucks. There are eight solo acts, including local artist Aidan Walters, before a band comes on to wrap up the festival.
