The City of Gerald and Swinger Sanitation will be conducting a bulk-trash pick up Tuesday, April 14 (or April 13 for Canaan Road residents only). Any resident with a Swinger polycart can set out two bulk items or a maximum of six bags (not to exceed 30 pounds) for collection.
Items that will be accepted include a mattress, a box spring, wooden pallets, toilets, sinks and carpet, padding or linoleum bundled and tied in four foot lengths. Each bundle counts as one item.
Metal items are accepted and will be picked up by the city.
Items that will not be accepted include construction, roofing or hazardous materials, landscaping stones, soil, rocks, brush, tires, concrete, glass or pull out beds.
Items should be curb side by 6 a.m.
