The April 7 Municipal Election had only one contested race on the ballot for Gerald residents.
Incumbent Rudy Via easily defeated challenger Bradley Landwehr for the Ward 1 Alderman seat.
Mayor Corey Novotney and Ward 2 Aldermen Cary Parker and Dean Isgrigg all ran unopposed. Novotney and Isgrigg were elected for a one-year term, while Parker won a two-year term.
Franklin County had an 18 percent turnout rate.
A majority of Franklin County voters in the Gasconade County R-2 School District supported the bond issue request, 282 to 260, but it failed to receive a required 4/7 majority both in Franklin County and district wide.
County Proposition 911 passed 7,118 to 6,629.
Franklin County voters also approved Proposition T 9,323 to 4,250.
