Owensville - The Gasconade County 4-H Council honored 10 graduating senior 4-H members during the Council’s bi-monthly meeting on March 10.

Each senior received a monetary gift along with the traditional green and white graduation cords, symbolizing leadership, service, and dedication to 4-H.

Together, these 10 graduates represent an extraordinary 94 combined years of 4-H involvement. Notably, four of the seniors completed the full 12 years of membership — a milestone that reflects exceptional commitment to personal growth, project learning, and community service, according to the county’s 4-H Council. The Council commends these youth for their perseverance and leadership throughout their 4-H careers.

Graduating seniors recognized this year include members from clubs across Gasconade County: Woollam 4-H, Bem 4-H, Double S 4-H, Little Berger 4-H, Town and Country 4-H, Bourboise 4-H, Gasconade County Shooting Sports Club, and Drake 4-H.

“The Gasconade County 4-H Council congratulates these youth on their accomplishments and wishes them success as they move forward with the skills, confidence, and character they developed through 4-H,” according to a release from the Council.
