Contracts and services were approved with a 6-0 vote on May 18 by the Gasconade County R-2 Board of Education for the 2026-27 school year.

Contracts and memorandums of understanding were approved for the following:

• Show Me Therapy will provide a speech and language pathologist at $81 an hour for 12 months. The contract runs from June 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027, or with a 60-day written termination notice from either party.

• Educational Services Agreement through KVC Behavioral Health Missouri, Inc., will provide specialized education services to students who are referred by local school districts. Rates vary depending on the services needed, though the agreed-upon daily rate is $155 per day of enrollment; $255 per day of enrollment if the student’s IEP requires two paraprofessionals instead of one. The contract year begins on Aug. 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, but may be terminated early with a 30-day written notice from either party.

• Physical Therapist Contract Agreement with Diana Brandt of Owensville will provide physical evaluations and therapy services. The contract details a physical therapy rate of $80 per hour for recommended services that will begin on July 1, 2026, on school campuses only.

• Physical Therapist Assistant - Warrior Therapy - with Andrea Hane - may be terminated with 30 days’ written notice. PTA services will be provided at a rate of $70.00 per hour, including travel time to and from therapists’ office and between schools, IEP meetings, required professional development days, scheduling, reporting, billing, and other required assembly will be charged. The term of this contract is from Aug. 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.

• Speech and Language Therapy Services were contracted to Paige Hammer, a registered and licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP), at a rate of $55 an hour, door-to-door. The contract began June 1, 2026, for the 2026-27 school year.

• Franklin County Community Resource Board entered into a memo of understanding with Jenny Armbruster, which began on April 22, 2026, with work primarily focused on substance use prevention needs.

• Psychological Examiner Services were contracted with Cindy Buettmann to provide examinations during the 2026-27 school year at $55 an hour.

• All-Encompassing Education, LLC, agreed to provide special education services for students placed within the program in the 2026-27 school year. The tuition rate is $7,600, with additional costs for add-ons.

• Southwest Baptist University (SBU) will provide at least 10 graduate students for any combination of graduate education that SBU offers, with a 20 percent course discount. Discounts decrease if fewer students participate.

• rootEd Alliance, Community College District of Central Southwest Missouri aka Ozarks Technical Community College (OTC) will provide the Gasconade County R-2 School District to with support for the Missouri Career Advising Initiative (MCAI).
