BELLE — Filing closed on Dec. 30, 2025, for the April 7, 2026, elections, with five declaring for three open seats on the Gasconade County R-2 Board of Education.
Submitting her intentions to run for school board at 4:09 p.m. on Dec. 30, Kaylynne Niederer dropped off a filing packet at the Administration Building.
Niederer joins Rachael Mooney, who filed at 10:48 a.m., and Mitchell Henderson, who declared at 2:32 p.m., on Dec. 12 with the board secretary Melissa Bauer. Declaring their intentions with Bauer on Dec. 9 were incumbents Glenn Ely, who filed at 8:01 a.m., and Jason Crowe, who declared at 11:25 a.m.
In addition to Ely and Crowe, board member Jean Baker is also up for re-election, but did not file to retain the seat.
