Lois Evelyn Carroll, 83, Dixon, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 3, 1942, to the late Robert Edward and Bernice (Davis) Nelson in St. Louis.
She was united in marriage to Norman “Pat” Hayes in October 1967. He preceded her in death and she was then united in marriage to David Kenneth Carroll, Jr.
Lois retired from Brown Shoe Company in Dixon.
She was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Bernice; and brothers, Tommy and Stanley Nelson.
Lois is survived by sons, Robby Roberson and wife Sherry of Dixon and Trevor Hayes and wife Donnella of Rocky Mount; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A private burial will be held at a later date in the Kenner Cemetery near Dixon.
Memorial contributions suggested to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
