Arthur William Nevills, 94, passed away Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, at Stonebridge of Owensville.
He was born Sept. 10, 1931, a son to Nicholas and Velma (Smith) Nevills in Lonedell.
He was united in marriage to Okal Shoemaker Oct. 27, 1951, in Leslie.
Arthur spent a lot of his life working as a carpenter.
He was preceded in death by parents, Nicholas and Velma; sisters, Dora Lloyd, Lucille Welch and Pauline Thompson; and brothers, David, Charles, Cecil, Herb and Carl Nevills.
Arthur is survived by wife, Okal of Owensville; son, Joseph Nevills and wife Susan of Highland Haven,Texas; four grandchildren;six great-grandchildren; and sister, IdaMay Sohn of Cuba.
Funeral services were held Oct. 24 at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating. Interment was in Countryside Memorial Gardens.
