Janie Wiegers of Owensville, passed away Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, at the age of 67. Beloved wife of the late Mark Wiegers, cherished daughter of the late Edward “Red” and Doris Jenkins. Mother of Darla Guetersloh and fiance of Darrin Hinkebein and Justin Guetersloh. Loving grandma to Logan Sansoucie, Cameron Hinkebein, Lance Hinkebein, and Aurora Hughes. Dear sister of the late Dennis Jenkins, “Nancy” and Carl Jenkins, “Becky.” A beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews, cousin, and a sweet friend to many.
Janie was a very creative spirit which was a talent she was able to use as an Executive Head Seamstress. She made quilts, crafts, and created her own little piece of Heaven on their homestead with her husband and true love, Mark Wiegers. She had a deep affection for all the horses and animals that they took care of. Janie loved baking and cooking shows and somehow all the recipes worked. Which was a great benefit to all around. The grandchildren’s cookie jars will never be the same. Janie was dearly loved and will be missed by all.
Her body was cremated. There will be no service held at this time.
