Jo Ann Marie Hoppmann, 72, Leslie, passed away Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025, at Life Care Center of Sullivan
She was born June 24, 1953, to the late Joseph and Sadie (Zuccarello) Frienza in Woodson Terrace.
She was united in marriage to Philip Hoppmann June 22, 1974, in St. Louis County.
Jo Ann enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Sadie; and brother, Joe Frienza.
Jo Ann is survived by husband, Philip of their home; children, Amanda Straub and significant other Phillip Dreis and Philip Hoppmann Jr. and wife Michellé, all of Bowie, Md. and Nicole Hoppmann-Lievano and husband Allen of New Market, Md.; grandchildren, Isabella and Arianna Lievano and Zoe Hoppmann; and sisters, Rose Murray and husband Pat of St. Louis and Annette Hefner and husband Bob of St. Paul.
Visitation will be held from 9 until 11 a.m.,Thursday, Oct. 16, followed by a memorial service at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville with Fr. Jim Foster officiating.
Memorial contributions suggested to the American Cancer Society.
