JoAnn Lenger, 93, Hermann, passed way Saturday, Nov. 8, at StoneBridge Nursing Home in Hermann.
She was born Aug. 30, 1932, on the only child of the late Wallace and Irmgard (Drusch) Stoenner in St. Louis.
She graduated from Hermann High School in 1950.
JoAnn had worked at Ritepoint, MetalWorks and Hermann R-1 School District.
She was united in marriage to Wilfred (Curley) Lenger April 9, 1951, at St. Paul’s UCC Hermann.
JoAnn was preceded in death by husband, Wilfred; and parents, Wallace and Irmgard.
She is survived by son, Darin Lenger and wife Teresa of Ballwin; daughter, Dana Bruckerhoff and husband Marty of Rhineland; and three grandsons.
Services were held on Nov. 13 at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Hermann, with Rev. Andy Wilson officiating.
Interment was at Hermann Cemetery in Hermann.
Memorial contributions suggested to the Hermann High School Band Boosters or St. Paul’s UCC.
