Joey “Joe” Thomas Hart, 83, Hermann, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
He was born May 8, 1942, to the late Clyde Sr. and Ethel E. (Israel) Hart at home in Big Spring.
He was united in marriage to Janet (Lenger) Hart Aug. 20, 1960, in Hermann.
Joe worked at the Callaway Nuclear Plant and for several pipe fitting companies in central and east central Missouri.
He was preceded in death by parents, Clyde, Sr. and Ethel; infant son, Gregory; brothers, Clyde, Jr. and Daniel Hart; and sister, Anita Landrum.
Joe is survived by wife, Janet of Hermann; sons, Brad Hart and fiancé Jennifer Gourley and Gary Hart and wife Karen, all of Hermann; sister, Carol Eastman of Big Spring; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 3, followed by the memorial services at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in Hermann.
Interment will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Liberty Cemetery in Big Spring.
