Louis V. Sieg, 98, Montgomery City, passed away Tuesday, Dec.16, 2025 at his home.
He was born July 15, 1927, son of the late Charles E. and Annie (Mantle) Sieg in Bonnots Mill.
He was united in marriage to Joyce Fay Greenwell July 17, 1948, at St. Paul E & R Church in Hermann.
Louis proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
He was employed with Herzog Contracting Corporation in St. Joseph for 21 years.
Louis was preceded in death by wife, Joyce; parents, Charles and Annie; six brothers; and seven sisters.
He is survived by daughters, Karen Broeker and husband James of Truxton and Sherry Weiss and husband Kirk of Defiance; son, Michael Sieg and wife Kay of St. Charles; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Dec. 22, at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in New Florence. Interment was in St. James Cemetery in Big Spring.
Memorial contributions suggested to Shriners Children’s Hospital or St. James Cemetery.
