Mary Louise (Fogerson) Feagan, 96, Owensville, passed away peacefully Monday, Oct. 13, 2025, at the Gasconade Manor Nursing Home in Owensville.
She was born Oct. 1, 1929, to the late Harold E. and Leona C. (Mundwiller) Fogerson in Hermann.
She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Charles Feagan, Apr, 7, 1951, at St. George Catholic Church in Hermann.
Mary grew up in Hermann and attended St. George Catholic School and Hermann High School.
She received her beauty license and operated her own beauty salon in Hermann prior to starting her family with Charles. Mary was a stay-at-home mom until 1971 when she was employed as the Owensville Elementary School secretary, retiring in 1991.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Owensville, and served on the board of the Gasconade Manor Nursing Home for many years.
Mary enjoyed being active in her church by helping with the Friday Fish Fry for many years. Her homemade pies were always a crowd pleaser as she was very talented in the kitchen.
Mary and Charles were married for 70 years. They were exceptionally kind and loving parents and grandparents. Mary was a cute, spunky little girl who grew to become a sophisticated, kind and loving woman.
She was preceded in death by husband, Charles; parents, Harold and Leona; and son, Mark S. Feagan.
Mary is survived by children, Michael Feagan and wife Barbara (nee Emde) and Lisa Kamler and husband John, all of Owensville, Kathy Myers and husband Richard of Nixa and Laurie Feagan of St. Louis; grandchildren, Kaylynne Niederer and husband Jared of Owensville, Rachael Schluetter and husband Ryan of Lake St. Louis, Ashley Myers of Lake Latawona, Barbra Myers of Jupiter, Fla. and Ian Kamler of Winter Garden, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Ella, Violet and Jackson Niederer, Lincoln, Boone and Magnolia Schluetter and Kate Boswell; niece, Sheila Stone; nephew, Dale Feagan; and great-nephew, Eric Stone.
Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 17, at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, at Immaculate Conception Church in Owensville with Fr. Philip Kane officiating. Interment will be at St. George Catholic Cemetery in Hermann.
