Rosemary “Rosie” Ann Kattelmann, 86, Hermann, passed away Jan. 23, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
She was born June 14, 1939, to the late Aloys and Virgie Winkelmann nee Van Booven in Rhineland.
She was united in marriage to Robert G. Kattelmann June 29, 1957, at Assumption Church in Morrison.
Rosemary worked as a waitress and owned Market Street 1954 Restaurant, worked in home health as well as cleaning at St. Paul’s Church.
She was preceded in death by parents, Aloys and Virgie; husband, Robert; brother, Alfred Winkelmann; and sisters, Margaret Witthaus, Vera Buscher and Rosella Bell.
Rosemary is survived by son, Dennis Kattelmann and friend Paula Locher of Hermann; daughter, Donna Winkelmann and husband Ward of St. Charles; brother, Louis Winkelmann and wife Evelyn of Hermann; sisters, Ida Brandt and husband Otto of Hermann, Pauline Oberg of Gray Summit and Beverly Haeffner of Gasconade; four grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and sister-in-law, Mae Magyar and husband George.
Visitation will be held from 8:30 to 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 30, followed by Mass at St. George Church in Hermann, with Father Philip E. Niekamp officiating. Interment will be in St. George Cemetery.
Memorial contributions suggested to St. George Church, National Kidney Foundation, Arthritis Foundation, or for Masses.
