Sherry Amanda Englert, 66, Rhineland, passed away peacefully Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
She was born Dec. 20, 1958, to the late Harvey Phillips and Patti Jane Shearon in Memphis,Tenn.
She was united in marriage to Larry Englert April 14, 1984, in Hermann.
Sherry was employed at St. George School, Hermann Middle School and at the Montgomery County Youth Center.
She was preceded in death by parents, Harvey and Patti; son, Dusty; sister, Lynne Crouch; niece, Sara Carney; and nephews, Steven Carney and Wesley Englert.
Sherry is survived by husband, Larry of Rhineland; children, Michael Bristow and wife Brandylyn of Bay, Rebecca Bristow and Chad Englert and wife Cassandra, all of Rhineland; six grandchildren; nephews, Justin and Daniel Reynolds and Kody Baker; brothers, Robert “Bob” Phillips and wife Jennifer of Americus, David Phillips of Hermann and Milo Vannes of Ripley, Tenn.; brother-in-laws Glen Englert of Devine, Colo., Leon “Butch” Englert of Rhineland, Harold and Willa Englert of Berger and Norbert and Janice Englert of Hermann; and sister-in-laws, Diane and Larry Carney of Holts Summit and Leola Horn of Urbandale, Iowa.
Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 27, followed by a memorial service at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in Hermann. Interment will be at Oak Haven Memorial Gardens in Hermann.
Memorial contributions suggested to the Rhineland Area Volunteer Fire Department and the Gasconade County R1 Children’s Emergency Fund.
