William Smith, 94, Gerald, passed away Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at Gasconade Manor in Owensville.
He was born Nov. 22, 1930, to the late William H. II and Elsie M. (Warneky) Smith in St. Louis.
He was united in marriage to Berniece Rosaline Czeschin July 8, 1961, in Bay.
William had served his country in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Boeuff Presbyterian Church in Gerald.
William was a Boy Scout Troop leader when his boys were in the scout program.
He was preceded in death by parents, William and Elise; wife, Berniece; and siblings, Larry Smith, Jeanne Angell and Anna Mae Brandhorst.
William is survived by children, Scott Smith of Rosebud and William (Bill) Smith, IV and wife Rae of Gerald.
His body was cremated and services will be held at a later date.
